I have been listening to your show for a couple of weeks and I really appreciate it. I too was struck by Lance? when he said he was “sitting and waiting for a paradigm change.”My God, what have we come to? I couldn’t help thinking about my grandparents, all peasants from Europe who came with nothing. worked their asses off. Raised huge families and survived the Depression. They had inner strength and skills to make something out of nothing. Now, we have become paralyzed, powerless…. sitting and waiting. That’s what I do, while remembering my incredible grandparents who, without any education, no skills, except digging potatoes and milking cows. I have a masters degree and all kinds of certificates and training. But it is not about that. It is about attitude. Our problem is that we expect, no – feel entitled to happiness, wealth, comfort, consideration. My grandparents expected nothing and were not disappointed. Somewhere in the past 50 years, we have become weak, helpless, dependent, depressed etc while living in ‘the richest country in the world’. What’s going on?
